This year, we have gained two new teachers: Mister Beauchamp and Mister Eggering. Mister Beauchamp has taken over the mantle for theater, public speaking, music and film, while Mister Eggering teaches sophomore theology. These changes are enforced because this past year, two teachers have left Marquette. Miss Foreman left for Baltimore, and Mister Roberts left to retire from teaching.
Marquette’s Gazette journalist, Piper Karrenbrock, interviewed the new additions to our teaching staff personally:
Mr. Beauchamp:
What are you most excited about at Marquette?
Obviously, working with the theater kids would be my number one priority. I took a year off, and getting a chance to work with crew members and actors is what I love the most.
What made you want to work here?
I am real good friends with Mrs. Bridgewater, and I have had a number of teachers here as my own students. I’ve always taught public, not private, and am excited for this opportunity. There are a lot of things.
What is something that most people wouldn’t guess about you?
Being a theater person, I am a really big sports fan. I am a terrible athlete, but I really enjoy watching the Blues and sports here at Marquette.
If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?
I’d like to think an actor or director, but those are very difficult professions to get into.

What are you most excited about at Marquette?
I am excited about meeting all of the students and getting to know them better.
What made you want to work here?
As an alumnus of Marquette, this place has always held a special place in my heart. I loved the four years that I was here, and when I saw that there was an opportunity to teach here, I jumped for it.
What is something that most people wouldn’t guess about you?
I am a huge collector. I have a massive collection of Funko Pops, Autographed Baseballs, Baseball Cards, and Books.
If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?
A professional wrestler.
