Marquette Catholic High School held its annual St. Baldrick’s event in 2026, bringing students, faculty, and members of the school community together to support childhood cancer research. The event focused on raising both money and awareness, while also demonstrating our school’s strong compassion and service to others.
Participants included student volunteers who bravely shaved their heads in solidarity with children battling cancer, along with classmates who contributed through donations and encouragement. Faculty members worked behind the scenes to coordinate the event, while students filled the gym, cheering loudly and creating an uplifting environment.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere was both energetic and emotional as each participant took the chair. Applause, music, and supportive words filled the gym, reminding everyone of the deeper purpose behind the event. Each shaved head represented courage, empathy, and hope for children and families facing the
challenges of cancer.
Donations from students, families, and staff members went directly to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, helping fund critical childhood cancer research. The generosity shown by the Marquette Catholic community reflected a shared commitment to making a positive difference beyond the school walls.
